Giving

A generous God is pleased when His people are committed to regularly giving a portion of their finances to help enable His church to function, grow and help others. This opportunity is provided during the actual church service, however, to accommodate those who may not be able to achieve weekly attendance, online facilities are available. Thus, people can continue cheerfully giving their tithes and offerings – investing in advancing His Kingdom and qualifying themselves to enjoy the ‘multiplied’ blessings of God (Mal 3:10-11; 2 Cor 9:6-12).

We call our members to give, not by meeting some obligatory percentage, but gladly sacrificing for the sake of the gospel because Jesus sacrificed for us, and all we have is His. We thank those who have helped us meet these needs and pray C3K would join in faithful, consistent, Godly giving as Scripture instructs.

12 Blessings Of Giving:

  1. Giving releases the favour of God upon the giver. (2 Cor 8:1; Proverbs 22:1, 8:35, 12:2, 14:35, 19:12)

  2. Giving, in spite of the affliction of poverty, produces great joy and releases supernatural provision. (2 Cor 8:2, Mark 12:41-44, 1 Kings 17:8-16, Luke 4:25-27)

  3. Giving beyond one’s ability, without thought of oneself breaks the spirit of poverty. (2 Cor 8:3, 2 Samuel 24:24, Matthew 6:24)

  4. Giving in spite of human restraints or human reasoning overcomes smallness of spirit. (2 Cor 8:4)

  5. Giving sacrificially deepens dependence upon God as our only source of provision. (2 Cor 8:5, Philippians 4:19, Psalm 56:19)

  6. Giving should be proportionate to one’s spiritual growth in other Christian virtues. (2 Cor 8:7)

  7. Giving that completes commitments which started with inspired faith will establish deep conviction for lifetime giving. (2 Cor 8:8-12)

  8. Giving is acceptable to God on the basis of the giver’s heart, not the giver’s amount. (2 Cor 8:12, 1 Samuel 16:7)

  9. Giving allows the Holy Spirit to minister to our deficiency. (2 Cor 8:13-15)

  10. Giving can be snared by delayed obedience brought about by postponement of generosity. (2 Cor 9:1-5; Exodus 22:29-30)

  11. Giving is governed by the laws of harvest. (2 Cor 9:6, Proverbs 11:24, Genesis 8:22, Psalm 126:6, Galatians 6:9)

  12. Giving with a joyful attitude pleases the heart of God. (2 Cor 9:7, Proverbs 22:9)

2 Corinthians 9:8-9
"And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

We pray God will multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness!
